The road to restoring our communities after Hurricane Michael won't be easy, but we here at All My Sons Moving & Storage will do our part and more in hurricane relief efforts. We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with several radio stations and Alpha Cares to provide a relief donation drive for those seriously affected by Hurricane Michael. The following stations are accepting donations: 97.9 WRMF, Sunny 107.9, 103.1 WIRK, X 102.3, Beatz 96.3, 85.0 WFTL, and 64.0 The Hurricane. We will be at the Palm Beach Harley Davidson today, October 16, from 7:00 am to 7:00pm and tomorrow at the Palm Beach Outlets from 7:00 am to 7:00pm collecting donations for relief efforts.
The donation drive will be accepting everyday items that we may not normally think about but are crucial to the victims of Hurricane Michael. Many families have become displaced, as well as their pets, and they're depending on their community to come through for them.
What to Donate for Hurricane Michael Relief
Non-food items that needed are diapers and wipes for both babies and adults, any personal hygiene items, and cleaning supplies. Food items that are much needed include instant soup products, pop-top canned food, peanut butter, cereal, and bottled water. Items that won't be accepted are any used/opened items, anything homemade, glass jars, chips, cookies, crackers, and soda.
Many of those affected by Hurricane Michael desperately need quality, shelf-stable food that doesn't need power to be prepared. We'll also be accepting cash donations on behalf of the American Red Cross Hurricane Michael relief efforts as well.
In addition, we'll also be teaming up with Feeding South Florida for volunteer efforts. Today from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, volunteers will go out to help in communities in need of relief efforts. If you'd like to volunteer, please visit Feeding South Florida's site here. They will be accepting volunteers from age 12 and up and all volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes.
The road to recovery after Hurricane Michael won't be an easy one, but with your help, we can make it possible. We thank you for doing your part in relief efforts. Let's work together!
