5 Packing Products That Boulder Movers Use Every Day

Packing is a huge task, but with anything difficult, it can be made easier with the proper guidance and tools. Finding all the perfect packing products is great if you have all that kind of time. If you don't have all the time in the world, the Boulder movers at All My Sons Moving & Storage have put together this helpful list of the 5 packing products that our Boulder movers use every day.

Boxes

Anyone planning a move needs boxes in a variety of sizes. Large items may require large or even extra-large boxes, but heavy items need to be placed in as small boxes as possible. On the other hand, lightweight things can go in the larger boxes, since they will still be moveable with ease. Since there are so many ways to pack boxes, our Boulder movers always have a variety of sizes on hand for moving day. There will be no last-minute emergency run to the hardware store to get more boxes.

Tape

Tape is essential to making sure your boxes stay intact during your move. Our Boulder movers use all different kinds of tape for different things. Shipping tape is one of the best packing products to use for sealing boxes. Masking tape is great for labeling boxes, if you choose to forgo a color coding system. Duct tape or strapping tape is the best thing for reinforcing and closing the heavier boxes.

Permanent Markers and Labels

Sharpie permanent markers are important basics you need for labeling boxes. The best way to label boxes is by establishing a color code system with colored labels/stickers or colored permanent markers. If you establish a color code system and assign a color to all the boxes that belong in one particular room of the house, you won't be confused on moving day when you are unloading everything into your new place.

Packing Material

Our Boulder movers are going to use packing material to keep your belongings safe during transit. Packing materials include: packing paper, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, moving blankets and felt pads. Packing paper is inexpensive and the most versatile packing product. It can be used to wrap up your belongings, fill empty space in boxes and provide cushion in the bottom and top of boxes.

Glass Divider Kits

In order to keep your glasses from breaking, the Boulder movers at our packing company will use glass divider kits to keep your glasses separated when they are packed in boxes. It's important to keep glasses from banging against one another, because if they do, they will break. Divider kits are one of the easiest packing products to use to protect your glasses during transit.
